Orders are prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and South African public holidays) following receipt of your transaction confirmation. A secondary automated electronic notification will be issued once the parcel has been collected by our logistics partner for transit to your specified destination.
2. Logistics Options and Transit Intervals
We partner with established South African courier providers to manage the distribution of your laboratory supplies. Standard estimated transit intervals for dispatched parcels are categorized according to your specific regional location as follows:
- Economy Transit: 3 to 5 business days for regional and outlying territories. Standard Transit: 2 to 3 business days for major South African metropolitan centers (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria). Priority Transit: Next-day dispatch to major hubs for orders finalized before 10:00 AM daily.
3. Transit Fees
Final logistics fees for your transaction are calculated based on destination and package weight, and are displayed during the final checkout stage. We maintain competitive rates while ensuring professional handling of all research materials. Users are responsible for providing correct address data to prevent transit disruptions, in accordance with standard ECTA shipping guidelines.
4. Data Privacy & Compliance
As per POPIA requirements, your personal data provided for distribution purposes is used exclusively to facilitate order fulfillment and is shared with authorized logistics partners only for delivery execution. Tetratide Labs operates in adherence with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) regarding the fulfillment of goods and the transfer of risk during the shipping process.
